Pet Memorials
We dedicate this space to the faithful companions who have crossed the rainbow bridge. Each name and story is a reflection of a life well-loved, and a reminder of the bond that endures even after parting.

Toffee
In loving memory of our beautiful girl Toffee.
She was the most loyal girl, with the kindest, sweetest soul. It was a true pleasure to have her in our family. The house feels a little quieter, we miss her snoring, and our hearts feel heavier with the big void she leaves behind.
Run free and enjoy over the rainbow bridge, dear Toffee. You will always be loved and remembered.
-
Teddy
Teddy pom pom ❤️The void you have left us is as big as the love that you gave us, you were the sweetest little boy ever. Run free beautiful boy over the rainbow bridge 🌈 love you mummy & Daddy 🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️

Eric
Here is our gently goofy loveable gentleman Eric. You may not have had the best start to your life but from the moment we met you had a safe loving home. You were the king on your throne and we were you loyal loving family. You were a quite gentle soul but you could fill a room with you presence. You will always be missed - love always Mam, Dad, Sis & Vera xx

Ben
Ben, fondly nicknamed Big Ben due to his near one stone weight, came to us as a foster cat almost 5 years ago.
He had jammed his tail in a door and it required partial amputation. Two people professed to own Ben but neither were able to care for his post op situation.
Big Ben was ridiculously good natured. If he hadn't already been named we would have called him Boris after a well known buffoon!
Big Ben was quite happy to be in a three sided relationship with Luna and her other suitor, Admiral Lord Nelson. They cwtched up together, fed next to one another and generally enjoyed a cat's life to the full.
Big Ben was too heavy for a cat carrier and was more than happy to use a harness and lead to visit the vets.
He required an operation to remove a polyp from his ear canal. Unsure whether benign. His ear angle was changed surgically.
Over the past year or so Big Ben had suffered thyrotoxicosis and tolerated differing does of Thyronorm.
More recently Big Ben's weight dropped dramatically with a near stable but raised T4. Thyrotoxicosis did not seem to be his only problem.
Over the past 2 months Big Ben had a voracious appetite. We gave him gourmet wet food on demand but his appetite never seemed to be saited.
Over the past month Big Ben was a pitiful shadow of his former self. He looked neglected despite our care, love and attention. He became skeletally thin and we realised that there was probably a malignancy of unknown origin which meant that he had little quality of life.
Ben died at home, loved and cherished. We miss our bungling lovable friend and will eventually smile and laugh at his memory
RIP Big Ben xxx

We had to say goodbye to our lovely boy Hudson on the 13th of January and it’s been absolute agony. We adopted him and his sister Annie from the RSPCA when they were 8 weeks old. Annie past away 4 years ago so Hudson has been spoiled ever since and we’re going to miss him so much.

Jay
To our beautiful boy Jay.
We had you for almost 14 years - how lucky were we. You were the most intelligent and loving dog and we couldn't have asked for a better family member.
From Day 1 we fell in love with you and you settled into your home with us immediately.
Everyone loved you, the testimonials we've received from our family, friends and neighbours since you passed over the rainbow bridge prove how much you were loved.
You are so handsome that everyone wanted to touch and love you, especially when you joined us to raise funds for Alzheimer's. You had your own collection bucket, and we called it a Collie Cwtch, and always raised more than we did.
You've left a strong legacy from your time with us and we'll never forget you.
We'll meet again one day ❤️
- Your Dad & Mam xx

To Lola, our gentle princess.
Thank you for the most wonderful twelve and a half years. You were the most precious, loving best friend we could ever have wished for.
You taught us that the purest, most unconditional love needs no words at all.
There will forever be a Lola-shaped hole in our hearts. We hope you are running free, chasing your ball and having endless zoomies, surrounded by all the treats you could ever dream of.
Until we see and cwtch you again, our precious girl.

Bob 29.05.2015 ~ 07.11.2025
Forever would not have been enough time with you, but we are the luckiest people alive to have had you in our lifes for the time we did.
You are a part of so many memories, and we will continue to see your happy face in our minds and in every place we revisit, forever.
Our hearts will be broken until the day you come and meet us at the bridge, but please don't wait, go and enjoy all the cheese and do zoomies in the fields, time will fly then.
We love you Bobbie, so much more than you will ever know, then, now and forever

-
Amber
Goodbye my best friend.
Thank you, sweet girl, for fourteen golden years. You filled our lives with warmth, love (and lots of fur!). You were more than a pet - you were family, a loyal companion and friend.
You greeted every day with a wag and a sparkle in your eyes - always ready for a game of fetch or a treasure hunt - you had a knack for finding happiness in the smallest things, reminding us to do the same.
You adored your toys, your walks, and your ear tickles. You gave so much love and asked for so little in return - just to be by our side.
Run free, beautiful friend. We’ll meet you again someday - tennis ball in hand.
-
Molly
This is a photo that always makes us laugh as Molly cannot get to the back door quick enough to catch the squirrel who regularly attended the window sill to tease Molly, we were sure the squirrel knew it was safe. Molly will be so missed by all of us.
-
Charlie
Our beloved Charlie boy passed over the rainbow bridge on 10/10/25, such a beautiful loyal friend to us all, you will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

Charlie
“On the 30th of September 2025 we had to make the hardest decision to say goodbye to our furbaby Charlie who was 16 and a half. Charlie was woven into so many parts of our lives: childhood, core milestones, family trips, recovery, heartbreak, loss, love, laughter, and joy. We couldn’t have asked for a better companion and anchor. Charlie deteriorated quickly over night, and we had to make the difficult but essential decision to say our goodbyes. Thank you to Caitlin for ensuring Charlie had a peaceful and dignified death. Charlie passed away peacefully in his safe space (one of his many beds) with all of us by his side. We cherish all of our memories of Charlie and miss him dearly, but are grateful to have had 16 and a half wonderful years with him. “If love alone could have kept you here, you would have lived forever”. Rest easy Charlie boy’

Teddy
“Our Teddy passed away peacefully in his own bed surrounded by his family last week.
Teddy hated going to the vet and we didn’t want his last moments to be filled with distress, Caitlin was excellent and full of kindness and explained everything to us and we would certainly recommend Forget-me-not vets for anyone considering home euthanasia. Teddy has left a big hole in our hearts but we are happy that we chose Caitlin to let Teddy slip away in a calm and comfortable way”
— Clive Rees -
Archie
“We are heartbroken that you are no longer with us but so grateful you graced our lives. You were my best friend and we will miss you everyday, your stubbornness will never be matched! You truly were the most beautiful boy. Archie left us peacefully at home in my arms. Caitlin was fantastic and a calming presence throughout, I would highly recommend the service she offers. Archie hated visiting the vets and would tremble each visit and so to have the opportunity to have it done at home was important for him and he was settled throughout. He simply went to sleep in my arms, thank you Caitlin. Goodbye my friend, love you XxX”
— Sean, Rachel, Rose, Toby, Finn & Snoopy
-
Audrey
“A perfect day. I took Audrey out for her final walk around the castle then it was tuna and hairdryer and then she settled down on the sofa for a nap until the doorbell went. She got down, sniffed and licked the vet then got back onto the sofa ready for sleep. It was all so calm and peaceful with all her family around telling stories about her until she was placed in a basket and taken to the car. Only when the car drove off did my heart break.”
— Richard
-
Daisy
“Yesterday we had to have our best friend of nearly 16 years put to sleep, we had a lady called Caitlin come out and honestly there aren’t enough good words in the world to describe how much more comfortable and at peace she helped me and my family feel. If anyone is wondering about doing this than a standard euthanasia in the vets I promise it is worth every penny. She was so patient and gave us time to process what had just happened and I honestly could not recommend this company and particularly caitlyn enough. Caitlyn if you see this, thank you so much for everything you and your team do x.”
— Megan
-
Eddie
“Eddie was just approaching his 14th birthday when he had a vestibular event which, after veterinary treatment he did not recover from. We decided to contact Caitlin so he could leave us peacefully, at home with his family around him. His final moments were peaceful with his family around him at home and we are so grateful to Caitlin for her compassion and kindness.
The service Caitlin provides is personal and professional and we recommend her services to anyone who has to go through this most difficult experience, we are glad we chose her for Eddie’s final journey.”— Nadine & Nigel
-
Jake
“Jake was our family pet dog for more than 15 years - originally from the dog pound. As we knew his days were numbered we knew we wouldn’t want to say goodbye at a vets practice. We were so lucky that Caitlin was available at this sad time. She was absolutely amazing, coming with the right blend of professionalism and kindness. She took control and explained everything as it happened. Jake slipped away with us around him. Thank you so much Caitlin.”
— Liz & Allan
-
Spike
“We had Caitlin come to the house to put our little man spike to sleep on Friday. My daughter has Aspergers and ADHD and she was very nervous. Caitlin explained in a way she could understand and it made her feel at ease. Myself and my wife didn’t really know if it was the right thing to do, but she assured us that the way he was it was his time. She could see for herself how loved Spike was and how well cared for he was and if I could give Caitlin 5 stars on her website i would 100%. She was so caring had so much compassion would highly highly recommend. Thank you so much Caitlin from Mark, Lorraine and Lisa”
— Mark, Lorraine & Lisa
-
Agatha
“Our dear gentle friend lost her battle with cancer and drifted into her own sleepy malaise. The thought of a car journey and wait at an unfamiliar clinic was difficult to contemplate. Caitlin’s gentle home facility saved those worries and Agatha was able to drift away in the comfort of her safe home surroundings. The compassionate care and professionalism was very much appreciated. Can’t thank you enough.”
— Mike & Sally
-
Wallace
“It was a relief to have someone who was gentle, kind and patient to help my boy Wallace pass over in peace, he passed away at home in my arms with family around him. I couldn’t have asked for better. Caitlin explained everything, what to expect and how it all worked. She had a nice balance of being there to reassure and offered more time if needed, not to be rushed, but also gave some space. The whole process was dignified and peaceful. Wal just went off quietly unaware of what was happening. I think his only worry was if he was going to get a third breakfast. I can’t recommend Caitlin highly enough.”
— Kay
-
Bobby
“We can’t thank Caitlin enough for her professionalism, caring nature and how amazing she was with such a daunting and sad time. We were so assured our boy Bobby was in the best hands, and we took happiness from the fact he was at home, in his bed and completely comfortable and loved throughout. We received a lovely photo of his paw-print, flower seeds and a lovely hand written message from Caitlyn. Thank you so much for giving Bobby the most comfortable experience possible, we are so grateful for your service.”
— Lucie
-
McKinley
“Caitlin came to our home during the Covid pandemic to help our beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, McKinley, pass peacefully. McKinley was a gentle but very nervous dog, and with his stomach cancer, a trip to the vet would have been far too stressful. Caitlin’s professionalism, compassion, and clear love for animals made a heartbreaking moment more bearable, and allowing McKinley to rest at home kept him calm and unafraid.”
